Program Duration
Bachelor’s: 4-6 years / Master’s: 1-4 years / Ph.D.: 2-7 years
Language of Instruction and Proficiency Requirement
Students can choose one of the tracks:
- English track: The department or institute offers enough English-taught core courses, and the remaining credits can be fulfilled by taking courses at other departments.

Requirements
- Two (2) recommendation letters
- Study Plan (including research plan) in Chinese or English
- Autobiography in Chinese or English
- Submit English/Chinese proficiency certificate according to the track chosen.
- Minimum English proficiency: iBT-TOEFL 61 / TOEFL ITP Level 1 433 (Speaking 48) / IELTS 5.0 / Duolingo 85.
(Those qualified for exemption should submit relevant certificates. Refer to 6. Application Materials section for details.) - Minimum Chinese proficiency: TOCFL Level 2 or HSK Level 4.
- Master's thesis. If the master's thesis is not available, a draft of the thesis or works equivalent to a master's thesis may be submitted instead.
