The Institute of China and Asia Pacific Studies made my formative years at NSYSU incredibly fulfilling and rewarding. The instructors are some of the most dedicated and insightful individuals that I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. They instill knowledge and excitement about political economy, law, international relations, against the backdrop of area and geopolitical implications. They also facilitate rich discussions where each perspective is heard and valued.I have engaged with a variety of approaches in the domain of international relations, international political economy, and international economics and was given the confidence to analyze and discuss these works from my own perspectives. As an instructor myself, I strongly believe that my experience with the Institute of China and Asia Pacific Studies (ICAPS) made me a better instructor as well as a forward-looking and critical thinker. In every of my classes, I hope to have the same impact on my students that the Institute of China and Asia Pacific Studies has had on me.
